Location: Niagara Falls History Museum - Ontario Power Generation Gallery

Stretch out under the stars in a portable planetarium and see a moon rock on loan from NASA that was brought back to Earth from an Apollo mission!  In 1971, Apollo XV was the fourth space mission to land on the moon, this trip was an important one, it was the longest planned stay on the moon. The primarily reason for this mission was to observe, survey and collect geological specimens such as the rock that will be on display for this unique exhibition. 

While visiting, also explore the lunar impact on Niagara Falls.  Ever heard of a moonbow?  Find out about this phenomenon and witness the inspiration that Niagara Falls had on artists with engravings showing early Niagara Falls at night.

The Museum will have three planetarium shows a day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.  On Thursday nights there will also be performances at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Show times during March Break (March 11 - 14) will be 12:00, 12:30, 2:00 and 2:30 to accommodate other programming going on during the day.
