Christina Le Rose

Dr. Christina Le Rose is an international award-winning classical pianist who has performed extensively throughout Europe and North America and has taught music at the university, secondary and elementary levels.  Born in 1985 and raised in Niagara Falls, she began piano lessons at the age of five.  An alumna of Saint Paul Catholic High School, Dr. Le Rose pursued piano performance studies at the university level and by the age of twenty-nine had earned four degrees on full scholarship: Doctor of Music (University of Alberta); Master of Music (University of Ottawa); Honours Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (Brock University).  During this time she also obtained diplomas and certificates in piano performance from prestigious music institutions in Europe.  Throughout her university studies, Dr. Le Rose received over sixty scholarships and awards in recognition of academic, performance and leadership excellence, including funding at the municipal, provincial, national and international levels.

An avid supporter of giving back to the community in which she resides, she has given hundreds of free performances at churches, schools, libraries, service clubs, military bases and retirement residences throughout Canada and has donated proceeds from benefit concerts and performances to charitable organizations.

While maintaining an active performing career, Dr. Le Rose teaches at Brock University as well as for the Niagara Catholic District School Board and the Niagara Symphony Orchestra Academy.  She also maintains a private music studio in Niagara Falls where she shares her passion for music with piano and theory students of all ages and levels.  For Dr. Christina Le Rose, music is the means through which she strives to inspire, enrich, and transform the lives of others.
