Daniel R. Rodrique Arts & Culture Wall Of Fame

Daniel Rodrique was born in December of 1952 in Magog, Quebec and moved to Niagara Falls in 1984. He is an active community volunteer and member of many organizations including: Royal Canadian Legion, Royal Canadian Air Force Association, Royal Niagara Military Institute, Royal Canadian Naval Association, and the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers Association. Rodrique is an Army Reserve Officer; he works with other officers
overseeing the operation of Army Cadet Corps as well as doing Combat Camera Work with Primary Reserve and documenting Regular Force Units tactical training programs. “The Veterans” was a six year project of documenting and broadcasting a look at veterans from WWI to the Afghanistan War. This 66 episode documentary covers the Army, Navy and the Air Force, making it the largest Canadian Veterans remembrance of its kind, with Prime Minister Harper introducing every episode. In 2012, Daniel received a commendation from Minister of Veterans Affairs, Steven Blaney, in honour of his work on this project. Daniel worked on series of commercials focusing on PTSD Awareness and Suicide Prevention. He has been involved with filming the Lincoln & Welland Regiment training for the Museum as well as a documentary on Cadets travelling from Ontario and Saskatchewan to Europe to visit Canadian battle ground locations, memorial, and cemeteries. He is currently working on project for the Canadian Army's Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers in CFB Borden and Ottawa. As a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, Dan has contributed to the culture of this community and well beyond. It is notable that Dan does much of his work free of charge.
