The Niagara Falls Culture Committee's Purpose is to foster, develop and unite artistic and cultural activities in the community. Through an Arts & Culture Wall of Fame initiative the community will have the opportunity to celebrate the many outstanding accomplishments of its past and present citizens, as well as the works of art that reflect the best of Niagara Falls.

We are accepting Nominations to the Wall of Fame until May 31st. Complete the Nomination Form and return it with a photo of your nominee for consideration.

2006 - 2024 Plaque REturn Plan

The Niagara Falls Arts & Culture Wall of Fame was established in 2006 to foster, develop and unite artistic and cultural activities in the community. Through the Arts & Culture Wall of Fame initiative the community has the opportunity to celebrate the many outstanding accomplishments of its past and present citizens, as well as the works of art that reflect the best of Niagara Falls.

The Wall was located at Niagara Square until 2017 and renovations forced a move.  The Niagara Falls Public Library on Victoria Avenue was a temporary location until the completion of the Niagara Falls Exchange in 2024.

At that time, the programme was changed and a new recognition format was introduced.  Those inducted into the Wall of Fame saw their names in a new format in this new facility. 

But what happened to the old plaques that were at Niagara Square and the Library?

We have those plaques in storage and would like to offer those back to the inductees – should they wish to have them.  We are inviting inductees and those who nominated them to contact the Culture Section to arrange a pick up should they wish to do so.

Pick up Period

Pick up of the plaques will be in the month of August.  Pick up of the plaques must be done before August 31, 2024
